Marshall was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1970 and currently resides in Florida with his wife, Samantha, who is his chief editor. According to "New Blood Magazine," while “Stephen King is the emperor of horror, Marshall is the law.” Marshall prefers to characterize his style as more in the tradition of psychological horror fiction. His prose ranges from poetic to schizophrenic and can be surprisingly disarming just before unleashing some memorable scenes of violence and terror.
